For me, it was my first phone ever (Yes, I am old), handed down from my father. For others, it was the phone their parents used while they were young. It is a phone that can instantly spark nostalgia in the mind of two generations, and it is back.
The brand now owned by the Finnish firm HMD Global, which comprises of former senior executives of Nokia, has already launched Nokia 6 in China, that was sold out in a minute. Now, at the ongoing Mobile World Congress in Barcelon, HMD Global is launching three more Nokia phones and all the eyes are on the 2017 avatar of 3310. Here is everything you need to know.
Nokia 3310 is a feature phone
If you expected HMD Global to fit a smartphone in the body of 3310, then the joke is on you. The new 3310 is a feature phone with no 4G or 3G on board. It has a new UI with nods to the original, with FM radio and an expandable storage. The display is a 2.4-inch color display with polarized layer for better readability in sunlight.
Days long battery
It comes with a long-lasting battery. HMD Global claims you can talk all day and leave the phone on standby for up to a month. Additionally, the 3310 comes with a Micro-USB port to make charging easier.
And finally, there is a new version of Snake on the Nokia 3310, the game that was introduced in the original 3310. The phone has currently priced a ₹3499 and comes in four different colors.
